At MusikBox, our faculty is more than a list of instructors — it’s a group of passionate, professional musicians who are deeply committed to each student’s growth, confidence, and creativity.

Every teacher on our team brings not just technical expertise, but real-world experience from the stage, the studio, and the classroom. They are active performers, composers, educators, and mentors — chosen not only for their musical achievements, but for their ability to connect with students of all ages and levels.

From toddlers taking their first musical steps to adult learners rekindling a lifelong passion, our instructors know how to meet each student exactly where they are and guide them forward with warmth, skill, and intention. We believe music is for everyone — and the right teacher makes all the difference.

Our Instructors

  • Shannon’s diverse musical background includes countless performances, and she has been instructing and coaching voice and piano students privately, in workshops, and in ensembles now for nearly 25 years. Highly in demand as a vocal coach and piano instructor, her thriving Westside LA Studio began in 2002 and has since had a broad range of children, teenagers, adults, and professional clientele. She received her Vocal Performance and Pedagogy degree at the University of Texas, and she studied Voice and Piano extensively at the Baylor University School of Music. Shannon is an active full member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), and consecutively in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Expertise® named Shannon one of the top 18 Voice Teachers in Los Angeles (of 801 Voice Teachers serving Los Angeles).

Shannon Moses - Owner

  • Multi-instrumentalist, composer and vocalist Chloe Wiecz is an accomplished performing artist and educator. Mentored by the late, great jazz pianist and composer Geri Allen, Wiecz graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Jazz Studies and Communication Rhetoric. Upon attending NJPAC's All-Female Jazz Residency program in 2015, she found her love for teaching and mentoring musicians. Since 2016, she has coached over 300 students, from piano / voice /theory lessons to rock band performance programs. Beyond teaching, Wiecz also performs her original music and collaborates with artists across the genre spectrum, from Art-Rock and Americana to R&B. Whether she is on-stage or in the classroom, Wiecz always spreads her love for music creativity, performance, and education. "This music journey is long range. Some downs but mostly ups. Chloe Wiecz

  • Hailing from the quaint town of Morgan Hill in northern California, Brianna's deep-rooted passion for music and performing arts has blossomed since the tender age of 9. Having recently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theater from USC, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her teaching practice. While Brianna has an obvious love of musical theater, her versatility extends far beyond a single genre. She possesses a genuine appreciation for all styles of music and is knowledgeable and committed towards guiding her students on their unique musical journeys. With her warm, fun, and supportive approach, Brianna creates a nurturing environment that fosters growth and exploration. Brianna comes to us with experience teaching piano and voice at two music schools previously, honing her instructional skills and further cultivating her passion for nurturing talent.

Brianna Pember

  • An avid coffee drinker and penguin lover, Brittany earned her Master of Music in contemporary teaching practice at USC. Prior to that, she graduated magna cum laude at Chapman University with a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance with a minor in integrated educational studies. Her true passion lies in music education and giving the joy of music to the generation of tomorrow. She is a committed teacher who has been teaching piano and music theory to people of all ages since 2013. As she always says, “whether it be in the music they are playing or the music they are listening to, my goal is to instill in my students a passion and appreciation for music that will last a lifetime.”

Brittany Buendia-Moralez

  • Carter is a pianist, percussionist, composer, and teacher with a deep love for all genres of music, films, and video games. He brings a wealth of musical experience, having earned his degree from the USC Thornton School of Music in 2022. Outside of music, Carter is an avid drummer and enjoys various interests, including cooking, chess, and spending time with his two house cats, Churro and Lentil.

Carter Boyle

  • Tori Leppert brought her passion for music education from Chicago to LA to help pave the path for young artists. She is a graduate from the University of Illinois with a Bachelors in Music Education, and she has since taught hundreds of students over the past 10 years through both private instruction (voice, piano, and songwriting) as well as through the school classroom environment. Tori loves working privately with all ages, levels, and styles… creating custom curriculum and lesson plans that serve the outcomes of her students. An artist herself, she specializes in folk/country, rock, and pop and is classically trained on piano, voice, and violin. Tori’s dream is to guide students in finding their own creative voice on their musical journey.

Tori Leppert

  • Emily Hayes began studying classical piano at age 5, and she had her piano concerto debut performance at age thirteen with the Northstate Symphony. Emily has over 12 years of private teaching experience and enjoys sharing her love of music through teaching. When not teaching, Emily continues to focus on furthering her own musical education. She earned her BM and Master of Music degree in piano performance at USC's Thornton School of Music under the instruction of Vice Dean of Classical Performance and Composition, Dr. Lucinda Carver.

Emily Hayes

  • Josue González has performed on world-renowned stages including Carnegie Hall and Bolshoi Hall, and has appeared as soloist with ensembles such as the Spivakov Virtuosi, Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá, and the Costa Rica National Symphony Orchestra.

    Winner of more than 25 national and international competitions, Josue earned his Master of Music at USC Thornton School of Music under Daniel Pollack, following studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and the University of Minnesota.

    Alongside his classical career, Josue studied jazz piano with Grammy-nominated pianist Russell Ferrante, bringing improvisational depth to his playing. His versatility extends into music production and engineering—he studied at Berklee College of Music, has produced acclaimed albums for Juilliard graduates and LA-based artists.

    A dedicated educator and mentor, Josue teaches privately and in masterclasses, with students earning recognition in competitions such as Bradshaw & Buono and American Protégé. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Russian, he continues to shape his artistry as both performer and educator, bridging classical tradition with modern innovation.
